Day 2: This morning started not good. Last night I had to hold my knee in a specific positions that eased the pain all night and made the morning harder. After about an hour after getting up, I got up and started the whining again, But the picture above pretty much describes what I did, if it truly was the case. Nope I sat on the couch for about a while longer when my wife, Jeannine said; "Guess what, RunDisney has just announced an Virtual Star Wars Half Marathon." She knew I needed a goal and this would be it. I signed up and now have 2 months to be at Half Marathon condition. Now I knew the days of whining were over and it is time to just do it (yeah, right if you think I am going to stop whining). So Day 2 is ready to begin. Day 2 was pretty much the same workout as yesterday and will be this whole week. Today, the pain started right at the beginning. The pain did not take long to begin, in fact first step and for the next 5 minutes the pain was right back to approximately a 9 or 10 level, the limp was present in my gait and a few times I actually had to grab hold of the handrails to hold my balance. But I finished and the recovery time took less time than the day before. Today the existing pain is still lingering and it has been about 10 hours.
Tomorrow is another day and now I have a goal to get ready for.
